Statoil aims to reduce gas
leaks on the Norwegian
continental shelf by 50% by
year-end 2006. Central to
that goal is the need to
train all personnel working
on gas transportation pipelines.
Mintra worked with Statoil to
develop interative 3-D e-
learning courses that provide
a thorough understanding on
how to assemble and maintain
valves, flanges, gaskets, and
the correct use of torque
charts and tools.
The company now trains more
operators in less time and
at a lower cost - even in remote
locations.
